The Coastal Empire Community Mental Health Center provides emergency services, case management, outpatient counseling and psychiatric treatment for children, adolescents, adults, and families in Allendale, Hampton, Beaufort, Colleton, and Jasper Counties.

We offer a wide variety of evidence-based mental health treatment services for a broad range of problem areas to include:

Our mental health center is committed to providing clinical interventions and programs that are empirically based and proven to produce positive results. Below are some of the evidence-based practices we use daily.

No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay!

Coastal Empire Community Mental Health Center charges fees for services. Payment may be made by cash, check, money order, Medicare or Medicaid. The business office is available to discuss payment plans for clients and their families. The Center can help individuals determine if they may be eligible for public benefits.

Patient Advocacy

If you have a question about your rights as a patient or believe that your rights may have been violated, call the Patient Advocate and someone will assist you.

As a National Health Service Corp site, we promise to serve all patients, offer discounted fees for patients who qualify, and not deny services based on a person's race, color, sex, national origin, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity or ability to pay. The Center accepts several insurances, including Medicaid, Medicare, and SC Healthy Connections for Children. No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay; and there is a discounted/sliding fee schedule available based on family size and income.
